Instructions For Use:

1. Epson LED is recommended to print at room temperature, while industrial nozzles (such as Konica, Xaar) recommend that the nozzles be heated to about 40°C, or selected according to the "viscosity-temperature change curve table".
2. When using UV ink, try to avoid direct light on the print head to cause the ink to solidify, resulting in blockage of the print head.
3. UV ink can only be used on piezoelectric printers, such as Epson, Konica, Xaar and other piezoelectric printhead models, and cannot be used in thermal foaming printers, such as Canon, Hp, Lexmark and other series printers.
4. If it is an old machine, it is necessary to first clean the pipeline with the cleaning liquid that was originally used with the ink, and then use Moson UV cleaning liquid to clean the machine pipeline again, and then load the Moson UV ink on the machine for use; if it is a new machine , first use Mosong UV cleaning solution to clean the machine pipeline, and then load Mosong UV ink on the machine for use.
5. The UV white ink needs to be stirred evenly before being put on the machine.
6. 9. Because solvent ink is more corrosive than ordinary water-based inks, when using water-based EPSON print heads, pay attention to the fact that the nozzle cover is easy to corrode. It is recommended to use oil-based heads as much as possible. If you insist on using water-based print heads, please replace the nozzle cover. into a solvent-resistant cover.

Introduction To UV Curable Ink:

Composition Of UV Curing:

UV curable ink is mainly composed of photocurable resin (photoactive oligomer), reactive diluent (diluent monomer), photoinitiator, colorant, additives, etc.
The components are described as follows:
1. Photocurable resin, also known as oligomer, is a low-molecular polymer containing unsaturated functional groups, most of which are acrylate-terminated oligomers, which are the main film-forming substances of inks. About 30% to 50%. Its performance largely determines the physical properties, chemical properties, printability and properties of printed matter of the ink.
2. Reactive diluent is also known as monomer. Monomer plays a key role in the system. It not only adjusts the viscosity, but also acts as a film-forming substance. The properties of things have a direct impact. Low viscosity and easy solubility are properties of ideal monomers.
3. A small amount of photopolymerization initiator is added to the photoinitiator ink. Under the action of ultraviolet light, the photoinitiator absorbs light quantum, decomposes to generate free radicals, initiates the polymerization of unsaturated double bonds, and the polymer molecules interact to form a network structure, when the free radicals lose their activity, the growth of the chain is terminated. At this point, the ink is fully cured.
4. Colorants, the colorants in UV-curable inks are pigments. Usually if a system contains pigments, its application properties are largely affected by the properties of the pigments. These effects include stability to light, heat, climate, organic solvents, etc., dispersion related to processing, blooming, and color matching of the final product. Pigments are the key to determining the color and optical properties of the final product, which have a lot to do with the nature of the pigment and its dispersion, i.e. particle size. Under the conditions of the same composition, hue, tinting strength and hiding power are all related to the dispersion of pigment particles.
5. Additives, in order to improve some properties of the product, when formulating UV-curable resin, it is often necessary to add an appropriate amount of leveling agent, plasticizer, polymerization inhibitor, wetting agent, defoamer, heat stabilizer, etc. . It should be emphasized here that the addition of these additives will cause the problem of aging and deterioration of the film layer, and may also have a certain impact on the curing system.

UV-curable ink (UV--CURABLEINKJETINK), as a special solvent ink, is cured immediately after being exposed to ultraviolet light, firmly adheres to the surface of the medium, and will not dissolve in water or other organic solvents. On the one hand, it solves the problem that water-based ink is not easy to dry, and because there is no organic matter discharged during the curing process (VOC is almost 0), there is no longer the problem of solvent-based ink, thus greatly expanding the application field of inkjet technology. Allows the printer to print directly on almost any material.
